God is Faithful

Dear Friends,

“Know, recognize, and understand therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, Who keeps covenant and steadfast love and mercy with those who love Him and keep His commandments, to a thousand generations.” Deut 7:9 AMP

What an amazing year this has been—we have seen the hand of the Lord move mightily and can certainly testify that HE IS FAITHFUL and HE KEEPS COVENANT!

As we think back over this past year, it is mind blowing to recall the amazing things the Lord has done. In January, as we began this new phase in our lives, it was simply a step of faith to “follow the cloud” and return to evangelism and traveling ministry.

For years, we faithfully put our hand to the plow here in Austin, TX and endeavored to do what God put in our hearts– train and equip the next generation of worshippers. Between the church and school and an occasional road trip with students, we were busy building. And then, as many of you know—the winds of change begin to blow. By years’ end of 2011, our children stepped forth into ministries of their own, and God, through a specific word, sent Joe and I to “run around the globe” once again.

In January, the Lord met us in a supernatural way at Potter’s Wheel Ministries in Mesquite TX and spoke a direct word to us about a mantle for families. That week, we prayed and saw restoration of families within that church, but that was only the beginning. Everywhere we went following, it seemed many faithful folks in the body of Christ needed the prayer of agreement for lost or backslidden children.

February found us in the Atlanta, GA area with our dear friends, Ps Myrek and Linda Hufton and the wonderful folks @ World Harvest Church in Marietta. We were able to do training with their worship team, and stayed over to assist Ps Rodney and the RMI Great Awakening week as well.

In March and April of 2012, we made a trip to South Africa and spent almost 3 weeks in the Johannesburg/Pretoria area ministering to thousands with well over 1100 people responding in the altar calls. What a privilege it was to see children, moms and dads come back to the Lord or come to Him for the very first time.

The month of May, we spent mostly in Florida and did some training in several churches, as well as revival meetings on the East Coast. We saw many families prayed for and the restoration of lives and families.

Summer was an especially busy time with wonderful ministry @ Lord of the Harvest Church in CC TX and then out to the beautiful Hawaiian islands with 2 different churches on Oahu. Again, the Lord blessed us with tremendous and powerful meetings.

In August and September we ran hard, making stops in Rosenberg, TX, Corpus Christi TX, Hamilton OH, Jacksonville, FL, Okeechobee, FL, Dallas, TX, Greensboro, NC, Summerville SC, to name a few. Yes…He is God, the faithful God….many were saved and many lives were changed and many homes were restored.

October was such a special time for us. We married our youngest child, Allison to a wonderful young man, Austin Vespa. The wedding was just like the wedding at Cana in John 2 and God showed up and showed out just for us! What a beautiful time…one we will not soon forget.

November found us busy, once again in Florida, with an opportunity to help RMI with the Great Awakening Broadcast. We finished out the month with City Worship Centre in Kilmarnock VA and had an amazing time with Ps Mike and Leslie Gates. Seeing lives changed never gets old!

Which brings us to the month of December—close to home and working on getting the worship school ready for online use. Friends, there is much excitement about the direction of the training center. Rather than only one location, which limits students to one region, many churches have expressed interest in being a host campus for the music institute. It is our desire to re-launch Institute for the Arts as Cruse Institute with regional locations here in the US as well as abroad. We are preparing the curriculum and server hosts for ease and accessibility as we write.

Also, our websites—wmiglobal.org, instituteforthearts.com, and joeandbeckycruse.com will go through a metamorphosis of change over the next 60-90 days.

As we wrap up 2012, we begin our 41st year of full time ministry! Let us remind you—HE IS GOD THE FAITHFUL GOD and He keeps covenant with those who love Him! We are living proof! It is our greatest desire to be faithful servants and to reproduce faithful servants for His Kingdom!

We covet your prayers and will be standing with you for any needs you may have. Let’s agree together—

“Lord, as we close this year, we recognize you are THE GOD–THE FAITHFUL GOD and you do keep covenant. We pray for our spouses, our children, our families that you show forth your faithfulness to all generations. We call them saved, healed, and filled with the precious Holy Spirit. They are blessed to be a blessing and will show forth the Glory of the Lord to the next generation! AMEN!”
