Hey friends,
Trust this writing finds you well. 2013, for Worshipworks Ministries, is off to a busy start. We just finished a wonderful time with Wellspring Church in Sarasota, Fl. One particular memory that comes to mind is the night that Joe prayed for a couple for a particular need but when the woman got up from the floor, she was crying and praising the Lord for something else. Back in November, she had a stroke that left her paralyzed on her left side. She began to stretch her arm and hand and was filled with joy when she realized the Lord had supernaturally healed her!
This past Sunday, we had a powerful time with our friends @ The Ark Christian Center in Kaneohe, HI. These folks know how to worship God with total abandonment and many came to the altar for salvation, recommitment, and prayer. Thank you Pastors Russ and Mari, and family for loving us and for receiving from the ministry God has given us. We love you!
This week, we are supporting the Great Awakening Meetings with Pastors Rodney and Adonica Howard-Browne here in Honolulu. So far, several hundred have come to Christ in a few days and the main outreaches have not even begun! Lord, shake Oahu with the Fire of God and let it begin in us! May we all never be the same!
This coming Sunday, we are ministering @ Christian Family Church with dear friends, Pastors Nick and Esther Van Rensburg in the Kapolei area. We are believing God for revival to continue and impact these precious people.
Upon leaving the islands next week, we will be in the San Diego area @ Abiding Place Church with Pastors Mark and Anne Spitzbergen and then on up to the Northwest to join some of our favorite people, Pastors Varun and Da Laohaprasit and the beautiful people of New Hope International Church in Mercer Island WA the last weekend in Feb.
And, can you believe it? The last week of February we are in the studio with our son, Ryan, working on 2 new projects, Becky’s “Essence 2” and “The Altar” a CD featuring some of the great songs of consecration we’ve sung through the years. It’s so exciting to recording again–we really covet your prayers for an anointing to capture the tangible presence of the Lord on these recordings. After all, His presence is what really changes lives!
And March through June is no different–the dates are filling up so quickly and churches around the world have opened their arms and extended invitations so we are asking the Lord to really order our steps and go only where He leads. South Africa, Brazil, Zambia and Barundi are confirmed so we will be sharing more in the next writing as we go forth to shake nations through Worship, the Word, and the Greater Works!
Thank you all for your prayers and support– we love you so very much and are grateful to those that have stood with us these 40+ years!
We do not send out monthly support letters and those of you who know us know that there is absolutely no pressure, gimmicks, or manipulation. We totally trust the Lord and have seen His provision in our lives like never before. As we take bold steps to record new projects and buy airfare for these nations, we like to give people and opportunity to sow seed and ask that you pray and if the Lord leads you to be apart financially, go to www.wmiglobal.org, click on the contributions icon and choose “give to WMI”. All gifts are still tax deductible and you will receive credit for your gifts at the end of the year. We thank you in advance and with clear and contrite hearts consecrate them to build God’s kingdom around the world!
If you have prayer needs or praise reports, as always, we’d love to hear from you! I’d love to share the praise reports in the upcoming blog so drop us a line and share the good news at [email protected].
Blessed to be a blessing–Joe and Becky Cruse
