Rehearsing for Eternity in Toronto

Sunday, February 10th, 2008

Hey friends,We are sending out a short note to give you an update on the meetings in Toronto, ON.  This morning’s service was nothing short of fantastic.  With a full house, we led the congregation into God’s presence and experienced heaven once again.   Many have come to the altar this week for healing, or rededication, and 4 gave their lives to the Lord in the service this morning.  We give the Lord all the glory and are looking forward to the last service tonight at 7:00.  This afternoon, we had the privilege of doing 2 tv shows with Ps Glenn Williams, Pastor of Evangel that I believe will be a blessing to many. Friends, we covet your prayers.  We are believing God for a mighty outpouring of His Spirit as we conclude these services.  Agree with us that God’s will is established for this church and for this nation.  Canada is ripe for a fresh outpouring and we are asking the Lord that He would let us be a small part of His mighty plan for this nation! Blessings, Ps Becky

On The Road Again

Only the WMI team would book a revival in Canada in February!  BRRR! We arrived just in time to be greeted by 6-8 inches of snow as we begin our revival/conference in beautiful Toronto, CA.  Not to worry though!  The Canadians are used to moving about in the snow, unlike us Texans who shut everything down at the slightest sighting of a single snowflake.

Last night, we arrived at Evangel Temple(www.evangeltemple.ca) to begin a revival with our dear friends, Ps. Glen and Priscilla Williams and their wonderful church and staff.  To our surprise, quite a few braved the blizzard-like conditions to begin the week with us.  I told the church last night, my favorite reason to come to Toronto was not necessarily the daily trip to Tim Hortons (my favorite coffee and doughnuts in the whole world) or the chance to play in lots of snow. No, my favorite reason to come to Toronto is because Ps Glen and Priscilla are some of the most wonderful pastors you will ever meet.  They are passionate worshipers, and give us the freedom to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in every service.  They are a rare find—we cherish our relationship with the great Evangel Temple, a church rich with history of great revivals and the embracing of a culturally diverse cross section of people. When we lead worship here, it’s like looking into heaven!  These precious people are carbon copies of their pastors— committed worshipers representing over 80 nations of theworld.

We will be blogging from here for the next few days and will include pictures of the services. Stay tuned for more….

Bangkok first day

What can we say! Our first day of meetings here in Thailand were more than we could imagine. The people are so very hungry for the touch of God in their lives. In the morning meeting, we had around 700 in attendance for the worship conference. They did not expect that many for a morning service–they had never had one before! The people enjoyed the worship and Ps Joe taught on TEAM ministry. Afterwards, he prayed for all 700 in attendance. It was overwhelming.

Tonight, the ballroom was packed as people kept coming in. Dr. Varun Laohaprasit spoke on the joy of the Lord and many people were touched for the very first time. He too prayed for everyone in attendance. I would say there were at least 1200 people in attendance. In the middle of his message, they were adding chairs!

I am going to try and upload some pics from todays’ meetings! Hope you enjoy them! Ps Joe and Becky
