Revival in Norway
Wednesday, June 4th, 2008Great Meetings in Norway
Monday, June 2nd, 2008Hey friends, we are writing today from beautiful Drammen, Norway. Outside of Oslo, sits a scenic and peaceful farming area called Drammen. The people are kind, the pace is slower but there is an explosion that is taking place in this quiet community. Jan Henvold and visionnorge.no or visionheaven.com are hosting Revival Ministries, Intl and Worshipworks Ministries, Intl in a Fire Conference that is sure to set ablaze this whole Scandanavian region! We just finished 3 meetings to kick the conference off that were so powerful! Last night’s service was a blowout with many people breaking through in worship to a higher realm of God’s Glory. It was captured live here in Norway and on satellite around the world. I truly hope those of you with satellite will check out their websites for their uplink addresses and witness what God is doing! We will be sending some pictures for those who don’t have satellite so keep checking this site for further updates. Church family, we love you. Heard you had a wonderful weekend. Keep praying for us! Remember, the reward is the same for those who stay by the stuff! Love to all, Joe and Becky

Austin City Academy Updates
Monday, May 19th, 2008This past school year was a banner year for ACA and enrollment is jumping for 2008/2009. Ps Stan and Kym and their faculty have done an excellent job teaching, training, and imparting academic excellence and leadership to the ACA students and it has really paid off. Also, we want to acknowledge our ACA parents. You won’t find a more dedicated group of parents whose generosity is unsurpassed. Thank you guys! Without your constant support to the vision, we couldn’t do all we do. Finally, congratulations go to Senior graduate Josh Gantenbein, son of Rusty and Susan Gross. Josh plans to attend IFTA in the fall. For more information on 08/09 registration, check out www.austincityacademy.com
Connection is a Key
Monday, April 21st, 2008In light of this past week and the wonderful things God did and said, through Dave Holmes from Sydney Australia, the one key thing that resonates in my heart was the importance of connection. Now, in today’s society, that is a broad term that has various aspects and definitions.
In his message on the key ways to know if you are a worshipper, the first way mentioned was that we were created with the ability to connect with God, our creator.
This really moved me on several levels. First, often times, we aren’t aware of what lies inside each of us, we don’t know we can cultivate that “intimacy” or “connection” with God. And so He remains, in our understanding, uncaring and untouchable and we move through life, waiting to find out who He really is at the end!
Secondly, because our society lends itself to a more secular view of God, people think God is in nature, in inanimate objects, in themselves, and worship has been relegated to searching for God at a very substandard, almost natural level, reducing His power, authority and ability. The following passages confirm God’s greatness as well as His availability.
Exodus 20:1 (NIV) And God spoke all these words:2 “I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.3 “You shall have no other gods before me”.
Numbers 23:9 (NIV) says, “God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?”
1 Chronicles 28:9-10 (Message) “And you, Solomon my son, get to know well your father’s God; serve him with a whole heart and eager mind, for God examines every heart and sees through every motive. If you seek him, he’ll make sure you find him, but if you abandon him, he’ll leave you for good. Look sharp now! God has chosen you to build his holy house. Be brave, determined! And do it!”
I suppose the question remains, “Can I connect with God”? The answer is a resounding yes! If we seek Him, we find Him and He reveals Himself to us more clearly.
Results? As we passionately worship our God, we are connected to all that He is and God’s perfect will, favor and blessing in our lives is realized in greater measure than ever before!
The Priests Could Not Stand to Minister
Friday, April 18th, 2008Good Morning! I am at a loss of words to try and describe the Thursday night revival service at City Worship Centre with David Holmes. Heaven came down and God’s glory filled the house. The best way is to quote from 2 Chronicles 5:13/14
5:13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD;5:14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God.
Friends, I have been in countless worship services with notable ministers of the gospel and for me, last night’s service was a highlight encounter for those in attendance.God’s tangible healing was in the house in a very real way, whatever one needed was available and I fully believe that as the recording of that service goes forth, what was available to those in attendance is actively available to anyone who hears it and activates their faith!
I just wanted to take this opportunity to say if there is anyway you can get to the last meeting tonight, it would be well worth it. God is moving in the earth today and He is definitely moving at City Worship Centre in Austin, Texas.Tonight’s service begins at 7:00 and David will also be ministering in the Sunday services as well. Don’t miss out! Get ready to change your life!
