The Word of the Lord
I love it when the Lord speaks a word and folks immediately get to see that word in action. Back in January, the Lord spoke to Ps Joe and said that 2009 would be a year of multiplication for the church and the ministry of Worshipworks International. There were four distinct areas that the Holy Spirit spoke–multiplication of souls, of laborers, of resources, and of leadership. Now I know that God is fully aware of the current economic situation in our nation today but that never renders the word of God ineffective!
If you have attended Sunday or Wed services at City Worship Centre over the last 4 weeks, you will most certainly agree that we are seeing multiplication, or increase, in many areas. From the deep levels of corporate worship, to the powerful word Ps Joe is bringing on “The Blessing, and the signs and wonders such as supernatural healings experienced by faithful church members coupled with the prophetic voice of God speaking throughout the entire congregation.
Even the attendance has increased in our Wednesday night prayer services as well as the Sunday services. Our children’s ministry is seeing increased numbers as well.
So, one might ask, why here and why now? Let’s see what the Bible says about the Word of the Lord.
Psalm 18:30 says, “As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him”. (NIV)
Psalm 33:4 says, “For the word of the LORD is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. (NIV)
Numbers 23:19 says, “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good”? (KJV)
Ezekiel 12:25a says, “But I the LORD will speak what I will, and it shall be fulfilled without delay”. (NIV)
1 Peter 1:24-25 says, “For, all men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field;
the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord stands forever”.
God’s word is true, God’s word is right and God’s word is sure. What has the Lord said to you? He will surely bring it to pass. Stand on His promises and watch His word be fulfilled in your life!
Blessings, PB
