catching up
Hey friends,
Well, after a very long time, we’re back! Lots of change (very necessary) and lots of travel, but God is at work and that is awesome.
We just returned from South Africa and saw the Lord do amazing things. We ministered to over 12,000 people and saw over 700 decisions for the Lord. Countless thousands came forward for prayer and healing. Many miracles were confirmed. We are so grateful to the Lord…to Him be all the glory! We’ve made a video of the trip and will be putting up a link to view very soon.
This coming weekend, the WMI team will be at New Way Christian Fellowship in Palm Coast Florida with dear friends, Pastors Rich and Kim Summerlin for a weekend of worship and miracles. If you are in anywhere on the East Coast of Florida, come and join us for a powerful time in the presence of the Lord! (check out the link for dates and times)
On Sunday, May 6th, you will certainly want to join us @ Compassion Church (our home church) in Austin, Texas for our IFTA graduation. It’s gonna be a great weekend to celebrate our students before they go “into all the world.” (check out the link for location details and service times)
Lastly, we covet your prayers and to all who’ve contacted us with encouraging words, we say thanks! If your church is interested in having WMI in for training conferences or revivals, feel free to contact us @ wmibusiness@aol.com or call us @ 512 917 2292.
We pray daily Psalms 37:23 (amp) “The steps of a [good] man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way [and He busies Himself with his every step].”
Friends, that is our prayer for you today! Trust the Lord, walk in His ways, and He will direct you to places of divine encounters and divine connections. It’s the only way to live!
Much love–Joe and Becky Cruse
The word of the Lord….Jan 1, 2012 “this is what the Lord says”
Hey friends,
Happy New Year! What a great time to be alive…this is a new season, given by the Lord to do amazing things to bring in the harvest and to build the Kingdom of God on the earth in these last days.
This past Sunday morning, I was lost in the presence of God during the worship and I felt the Lord speak very clearly to me about this new year.
This is what the Lord said–
As 2011 was the year of release, (and I laughingly reply I didn’t know that would directly effect me) a year where things would be cut off and uprooted, 2012 is the year to “take hold of, to grasp, to go after, to reach for.” “What seems to have slipped through your fingers in the past, you will take possession of this year”.
LORD, (I asked) HOW WILL I DO THIS?
“You will do this by seeking me, seeking my face and activating your faith with corresponding actions!” “You will not do this by the arm of the flesh” but by the Holy Spirit, by the Word of God, by my Blood, and by your testimony. It will not be easy, but it will be worth it and I will be glorified in it!” AND YOU WILL SEE THE THINGS I HAVE PROMISED YOU COME TO PASS!
And then the Lord gave me the following verses to meditate on:
Matt 6:33 AMP But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness ( His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.
Phil 3:12 AMP Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Matt 11: 12 AMP And from the days of John the Baptist until the present time, the kingdom of heaven has endured violent assault, and violent men seize it by force [as a precious prize--a share in the heavenly kingdom is sought with most ardent zeal and intense exertion].
Now, I know this is probably not the most popular or exciting word but it is RHEMA!! It’s gonna take discipline, it’s gonna take faith, it’s gonna take a determination to keep, keep, keep, our eyes on Jesus!
Hebrews 11:1-3 says, “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God”.
Friends, I have more to share but I want you to meditate on these things this week. Get the above verses in your spirit and take hold of them by faith. THAT IS WHAT PLEASES GOD!
We are so excited to begin the new year with our dear friends, Ps Tommy and Kim Morgan, at Potter’s Wheel Ministries in Mesquite TX. www.potterswheel.org January 8-11th. Come join Ps Joe and me and the team for a time of worship and celebration as we covenant with the Lord for miracles this New Year!
We are in the process of updating the WMI Global website, getting the Institute online and working on new CDs and our first book! Pray for us and send us your prayer requests as well. You can follow us on Facebook and Twitter as well. As always, if the Lord speaks to you about sowing into this ministry, you may do so by going to wmiglobal.org and clicking the “contributions” icon. Your gifts are recorded and are fully tax deductible. We are believing God for mighty things and will be traveling almost every week here in the US and abroad. Your gifts will enable us to do so and a great harvest will come to your account!
We love you all—come and join us on the road this year!

Nine….no…….Ten things I’m thankful for this Christmas Day
Christmas Sunday, December 25, 2011—Sitting by the fire here on a wet, cold Sunday in awe of what this day represents to me and thought I would share them with you.
I’m thankful for God, my heavenly Father who loves me with an everlasting and incomparable love—no love compares.
I’m thankful for Jesus, God’s only Son, my Redeemer and my Baptizer, who shed His blood for my sins and makes me ready for heaven.
I’m thankful for the Holy Spirit, who enables and empowers me to have life on this earth and life more abundantly.
I’m thankful for the angels, the ministering spirits sent to defend and protect, “lest I dash my foot against a stone”.
I’m thankful for Word of God that became flesh and dwells among us. Christ, the Word Incarnate…living, breathing and alive in us.
I’m thankful for my testimony—once I was lost but now I’m found. Once I was blind but now I see. It is with my testimony and His blood that I can overcome.
I’m thankful for the husband of my youth, the love of my life, who most represents Jesus in my life and brings heaven to this earth for me.
I’m thankful for my children and grandchildren who serve the Lord and love Him passionately. They are the real music, the joy, and the laughter of my life.
I’m thankful for my friends in ministry, my co laborers, and those who have received our ministry and partnered with us through prayer, and through financial support all of these 40 years. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE and much fruit is in your heavenly accounts!
I’m thankful for our church, City Worship Centre. You have blessed my life immeasurably.
JOY TO THE WORLD THE LORD HAS COME—LET EARTH RECEIVE HER KING!
December Happenings
Good morning friends,
What a December to remember! We’ve had a great month and it’s not even Christmas yet! Ps Jody and Vanessa and their team had a “jazzy” Christmas party this past Saturday and a powerful Sunday in the presence of the Lord. Great attendance and visitors at both. There’s no time like the Christmas season to introduce folks to the power of the “newborn King”!
Ps Joe and I had a very special time with our dear friends, Ps Kevin and Gaile Howell @ Covenant Christian Center in Tampa/Vero Beach Florida. The worship was so pure and God’s power touched many lives. We are happy to tell you that we will be back there on January 15-20 for extended meetings. Come join us for a great time of celebration in the presence of the Lord.
This past weekend, we celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary in Seattle, WA at New Hope International Church with dear friends, Ps Varun and Ps Da Laohaprasit. There really are no words to describe what God is doing in the Northwest through this powerful couple. The church and ministry has exploded with other locations and additional services to accomodate the crowds. Ps Lao has never compromised the move of God and subsequently, the anointing has increased with great power. They have planted churches all over Bangkok, the US, starting a work in Japan in January and believing God to plant a church in Germany later next year.
We are proud to partner with this ministry and plan to join them in their mission efforts in 2012. We had 15-20 answer the altar call Sunday morning in the 10 am service for salvation. These guys are soul winners and love to bring the lost to church! The afternoon service was full and we were privileged to pray for everyone in attendance. Many were supernaturally healed in their seats EVEN BEFORE we layed hands on them. It was just a supernatural day–thank you to all you greeted us, loved us, and brought us cards with well wishes. To be honest, I couldn’t think of anywhere else I would have rather been on that day. Thank you Lord–to God be the Glory great things He has done!
Due to the “busyness” of the month, we didn’t get Christmas cards out but our hearts are full of Thanksgiving and praise for all He has done this year. Yes it was a year of transition, but change is good and change is here to stay. We are looking forward with great anticipation to 2012. And by the way, if you are in the DFW area, we are starting the year of with dear friends, Ps Tommy and Kim Morgan at Potters Wheel Ministries in Mesquite TX January 8-11. Come on out and join us for a time of worship as we consecrate the first days of the new year to the Lord!
Our New Blog
Hey yall! Can you believe it? We are baaaaaaccckkk–after quite a long time without being able to write, we are back up to speed with our new and updated blog. Thank you to our dear friends and church members, Rebeca and Andres Dodero and liveconnexus.com! We have lots to talk about so here we go–
Remembering back to the word of the Lord in January, the Lord promised us that it would be “The Year of Release” and wow–we had no idea that powerful word included “yours truly”. Before I get ahead of myself, let me explain.
In March, we began a process of transition that is still unfolding. After speaking with our children, we realized that key components of the ministry were in need of change. Institute for the Arts has been a blessing to many young people through the years; however, there were many more potential students that wanted to come but could not because of several key factors–finances, travel visas, time off, etc, etc. After much prayer and counsel, we decided to suspend the school for one year in order to get it up online. So, beginning this coming January, we are working with “liveconnexus” and some local churches/worship leaders to get the school functional and available to the whole world beginning September 2012. That’s so exciting for us. Keep IFTA in your prayers. It will be a blessing, once we get it up and running.
In July, we made the hard decision to move off the 26 acres we had been on for the last 3 years. I don’t want to bore you with the details, but the owner chose not to put up a building and wanted to raise the rent instead. City Worship Centre is a made up of a faithful group people and they would have stayed in the tent, but Ps Joe and I felt it was time to make a move.
We are currently meeting in an office complex (Innerstep Business Park 14141 Hwy 290 W Austin, TX 78737) directly across from the property. It is a bit small but its warm in the winter and cool in the summer and we are greatful! We don’t anticipate being there long. Other exciting opportunities are being made available to us–more on that later.
In September, Ps Ryan and Tressa felt an urgency in their spirit to transition to the DFW metroplex area and are now apart of Fellowship Church in Grapevine, TX. We are very proud of them and miss them alot. We know God has great things in store for them. I know they would covet your prayers for their future as well.
And last but certainly not least, we had a big weekend last week. Friday night, we hosted a beautiful engagement party at our home and formally announced the engagement of our daughter, Allison, to a wonderful young man, Austin Vespa, from Lakeland Fl. And then on Sunday, we laid hands on Ps Jody and Vanessa and set them in as the Senior Pastors of City Worship Centre. Sunday was just a powerful day in the presence of the Lord and the culmination of many things.
“So, you ask, “what’s next?” We really don’t know completely–we are seeking the Lord with all our hearts but know that the apostolic ministry of worship and training has grown stronger with each passing year and now that the school will be online and the church will be well taken care of, we will be free to travel once again, doing crusades, worship conferences and imparting the heart of worship and the spirit of revival wherever the Lord will lead us.
Whew–Sorry to be long winded–just wanted to catch everyone up to speed and ask you for your prayers as we embark on this new phase of ministry. We have heard from many of you already. Thank you for your prayer and your support. We are once again walking on the water and that’s a good thing.
We love you all and will be updating the blog weekly. If you are looking for updated info on Ps Joe, myself and the WMI Traveling team, check us out at WMI Global. Check back often for pictures of the crusades, happenings at the church and even a little wedding news thrown in for good measure! (October 5, 2012 if you are in the area
)
Much love–Ps Joe and Becky and the gang
