Post Christmas News

Thursday, December 27th, 2007

Holiday greetings to all our friends, new and old–We had a wonderful Christmas with our family. We trust you did as well. The Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at the church was very special and has become a real highlight every year.

At this writing, we are taking some much needed time to rest and recharge. It’s been great to spend some time with each other and with the Lord. As we look to 2008, we are excited to see what the Lord has in store for us.

Thanks to so many of you for the beautiful cards and well wishes! It is always fun to “catch up” with so many during the holidays. Our prayer is that your 2008 is a year filled with blessing and prosperity.

It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Saturday, December 15th, 2007

We trust this writing finds you blessed, not stressed and happy, not sad!  Christmas is my most favorite time of the year and even though it’s hectic and crazy around the ministry, we have to stop and remember that Jesus is the reason for the season.  And what is so awesome is, the whole nation and most of the world stops to honor the birth of our Saviour.

We hope you enjoy the pictures (below) from our Love Out Loud Outreach from this past weekend!  We blessed over 400 families with food, clothes and toys.  Thanks to our friends, Jerry and Cynthia Taylor, and faithful members of our church and schools, we had plenty to share with the people in our area.  You know, it just puts every thing in perspective when you see people come with great needs, and see them leave with a big smile and a thankful heart.  Thanks to Ps Tressa and Ryan and their team of volunteers for a job well done!

This coming Sunday night, (Dec 16 @ 7:00 pm) we are presenting our 7th Family Christmas production here in Austin at City Worship Centre.  Students, family and friends are a part of this beautiful presentation and though the songs, sets, and singers change from year to year, the message of Christmas remains the same.  Hope you get a chance to be a part of this great night.

As we close the door on 2007, we turn our thoughts and prayers towards 2008 and wow, the future looks bright!  The church and schools are posturing themselves for growth, and the calendar is quickly filling up with requests forWMI to lead revivals and worship conferences around the world.  We covet your prayers!  Would you stand in faith with us as we continue to “see worship, the Word, and the greater works” impact our generation?  It is God’s mandate and our passion! Merry Christmas–the Cruses
